Mark Mortimer

Mark has more than 30 years of international business experience in over 50 countries. He has lived in China, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, and the UK and owned and operated businesses in China, Hong Kong, Australia, and the UK. He has senior level experience working in and with blue chip multinational companies, and has created international businesses from startups.

In his new role as Senior Consultant at Global Business Culture, Mark is responsible for working with clients to develop and deliver training programs that help bridge cultural gaps in their organizations and increase operational efficiency. He works with companies to build the cultural understanding they need to succeed in complex markets like China, Korea, Japan, and countries across Southeast Asia.

Whether it’s entering a new market, creating an overseas operation, managing joint ventures, or improving relationships with local teams and partners, Mark can provide you and your teams with practical, business-focused advice.
