The client

A fast-growing life sciences organization with more than 1,300 employees across the US, Europe, and Asia. Through rapid expansion and acquisitions, the company’s workforce had become increasingly diverse, with employees collaborating daily across multiple time zones and cultural backgrounds.

The challenge

As the organization scaled internationally, leaders identified a pressing challenge: employees often lacked awareness of how their behaviors and communication styles might be perceived across cultures. This created potential friction in areas such as leadership, feedback, conflict resolution, and teamwork. To maximize collaboration and deliver seamless client service globally, the company required a scalable solution to develop cultural competence across its entire workforce.

What we did

GBC created a Cultural Awareness E-Learning program, delivered in three phases:
